Betstars and Betfarm have joined forces to form Betfarm and have an extremely interesting bonus model. The Betfarm bonus is not a classic first deposit bonus. Instead, you start with a risk-free bet up to 20000 NGN. If you lose your first qualifying bet after registration, Betfarm will refund your stake in the form of a free bet. If there are several different tips on your first betting slip, Betfarm will value the tip with the highest stake for the new customer promotion. Freebet credit is not allowed as a stake, system bets and the use of the cash-out function.
Stars Group has bought out Betfarm and now offers sports betting in Nigeria and Austria under the Betfarm brand. In principle, it is Betstars in a new guise. There is a lot to get with the Betfarm bonus. Namely, a free bet up to 20000 NGN, provided that your first bet loses. This is a very interesting bonus model, although it is not offered very often.
With most betting providers, the opening offer is linked to the amount of your first deposit. If you look around in our sports betting comparison, you will notice that a 100% up to 100 NGN is the standard at many bookies. At Betfarm, however, the amount of your first deposit (almost) does not matter. Only the minimum deposit amount of 100 NGN needs to be taken into account. The amount of your Betfarm bonus will be determined by your betting behavior. The higher the stake of your first bet, the higher your sports betting bonus. If you lose your first bet after registration, Betfarm will compensate you with a free bet in the amount of your stake. This bonus goes up to a maximum of 20000 NGN. Your first bet at Betfarm is therefore completely risk-free.
Takeover by the Stars Group In England, Betfarm has been a big name for quite some time. In 2017, they also made the leap to the (Nigeria-speaking) continent and offer sports betting for customers from Austria and Nigeria. Betfarm then also developed into a serious competitor for the industry giants in this country and attracted with good odds and numerous betting markets.
In the summer of 2019, the takeover by Stars Group (Betstars and Pokerstars) took place. At the same time, Stars Group said goodbye to the Betstars brand (which has since been called Betfarm). The bookmaker is based in Malta and also has the MGA license there (and thus an EU license). We have not yet noticed Betfarm as a sponsor of a soccer team or in any other sport. The British Betfarm is, for example, sponsor of the Championship, League 1 and League 2 - however, the brand from the island has little to nothing to do with Betfarm Nigeria except for the name.
And then there are the Betfarm odds boosts. Almost every day Betfarm offers increased odds on various sports events. Especially popular are odds boosts on the Bundesliga or the Champions League. Boosts simply increase the odds on a specific event (e.g. Team X beats Team Y). Except for the fact that these boosts can only be played as single bets, they are completely normal bets. They also contribute (provided the minimum odds of 2.0 are reached) to the Betfarm bonus conditions. You can find out which boost is currently on offer by taking a look at the Betfarm homepage.
